INSTRUCTOR
Asia Smith, RDMS
Asia has been an RDMS since 2014 and has been working with Soundview Imaging for almost a decade.*(or since 2016) She chose the field of ultrasound with a vision to serve the pro-life movement. Since becoming a sonographer, she has served at three different pregnancy centers as staff or volunteer. Early in her career, she was involved in the start-up of a new pregnancy center in Central Florida and was there as staff sonographer the day the doors opened. Asia also has both outpatient and hospital ultrasound imaging experience, but obstetrics has always been her favorite! Asia strives to teach her students to scan-and serve- with excellence, and loves showing Moms and Dads the truth and beauty of life inside the womb. When she's not teaching ultrasound, she is homeschooling her daughter Aaliya. Asia, along with her husband and daughter, lives in Virginia, where she loves serving as the keyboard player at her local country church.
Cynthia Medley, RDMS
Cynthia has been in the ultrasound field for almost 12 years. She has worked at her local pregnancy medical clinic since 2015. Her roles at the clinic have included being a client – advocate, sonographer, and ultrasound instructor to the medical staff. She greatly enjoys working in the pregnancy medical clinic to form relationships with the women that she sees, provide them hope; always letting them know they are cared about no matter what, but most of all to let them all know they are so loved by our Heavenly Father!
"Very valuable to have Dotsy here. Her teaching tips and suggestions are simply said + easy to remember + experience + insight were very helpful. I want all of our nurses to finish with this assessment. I was very encouraged and appreciated the time of devotion and prayer as priority with each training day...not just my practical skills were observed, but how I interact with patients."
